LIFE

I lay resplendent, underground.

Darkness binds me, all around

I taste an avalanche of sound.

Empty now of soul and beat

No worries more

Lay at my feet.

My spirit free

To soar with glee

And fly into infinity.

I shall miss not

The cut and thrust

The dreams I had

Which now are dust.

Revealed the words wrote in my heart

That bear no memory

Of this life’s start.

But reads a hymn of light and glory

This magnificent

Never ever ending story.
