IN PASSING

What did she see?

When she was looking at me.

A smile spread across her lips

I looked down

To see if I was unzipped.

Her eyes sent me a note

Not a word was spoke.

Just an understanding

That soon we’d be landing

In bed.

Don’t blame me

That’s what the eyes said.

It seems a bit sleazy

Almost too easy.

Hey but I’m just a man

Got to take some loving whenever I can.

We kissed the next day

Both went on our way

There wasn’t much to say.

To a stranger.
