Just one of the slaves

In my dreams we took a sailing ship

And I took the ocean on a trip.

We flicked across the burning sands

With no sight of sea

Just empty parched dry arid lands.

And the ocean whispered in my head

Deep within my dream it said

Take me home.

Make me home.

For you and I should no longer roam

Upon these studded fantasies

On sandy seas.

I beg you please to take me home

And when I woke in the thunder of waves

I was still just one of the slaves

To the ocean.
