Walls in the mind

Walls that confine

Walls with no end

Walls that will send

A person to Hell

A person not well

Is tied up in knots

Tied down to cots

Watching the walls.

Walls that are grey

Walls with no day

Only blackened stains

On walls full of pains.

Brick upon brick upon brick

Walls make me sick.

Walls make me cry

Why can’t walls die.

I can no longer see

Outside where I’m free.

I only see walls

Chains and balls

Towering walls.
